Advantages
1. Liquid Cooling
Unlike air-cooled battery cabinets, EnerOne+ uses a liquid cooling system that keeps cell temperature differences very small, improving:
- Battery life
- Capacity retention
- Safety
- Charging/discharging efficiency
The original EnerOne maintained cell temperature differences within about 3°C, contributing to its long service life.
2. CATL CTP (Cell-to-Pack)
CATL’s Cell-to-Pack technology removes unnecessary module structures, resulting in:
- Higher energy density
- Fewer electrical connections
- Lower failure rates
- Reduced weight
3. High Safety
EnerOne+ includes multiple protection layers:
- Cell monitoring
- Module monitoring
- Rack-level BMS
- Cabinet-level BMS
- Thermal runaway detection
- Aerosol/fire suppression
- Pressure relief vents
- Electrical isolation
- Fault diagnostics
CATL also incorporates its No Propagation (NP) technology to reduce the risk of thermal runaway spreading between cells.
4. Long Lifetime
Typical performance :
- Up to 10,000 charge/discharge cycles
- Around 20 years design life
For one full cycle per day :
- 365 cycles/year
- 10,000 cycles ≈ 27 years (actual service life depends on temperature, depth of discharge, and operating profile).
5. Flexible Integration
The cabinet is compatible with DC systems from 600 V to 1500 V, allowing integration with many third-party PCS brands, such as:
Sungrow, Sinexcel, Kehua, SMA, Power Electronics, Gamesa Electric, Delta ABB
This flexibility enables system integrators to optimize cost and performance.
6. Applications
